Graphic Designer & Content Creator

Contracted position · Hybrid role, office based in Birmingham

The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for visual storytelling and be proficient in a variety of design tools and techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including branding, web design and multimedia content, contributing to the visual identity and marketing efforts of our organisation.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent presentation skills, a keen understanding of digital design principles and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce visual assets for marketing, branding and corporate communications
  • Develop creative concepts and maintain consistent brand identity across all materials and platforms
  • Create high-quality design work for both print and digital applications
  • Design and prepare professional print materials including brochures, magazines, flyers, packaging, signage and exhibition graphics
  • Manage layout, typography, colour profiles and print specifications to ensure production-ready artwork
  • Liaise with printers and production suppliers to ensure correct file preparation, proofing and final output
  • Create graphics and visual content for websites, social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop engaging visual assets that support online promotions and brand visibility
  • Produce 3D visualisations and animations for products, marketing materials and presentations
  • Create high-quality renders and motion graphics to support product demonstrations and marketing campaigns
  • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions
  • Present design concepts and incorporate feedback to meet project objectives
  • Work directly with printing companies and external suppliers to manage artwork specifications, proofing and production timelines
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Content Creation

  • Write engaging captions and develop concepts for short-form video, stories, reels and carousels
  • Work with designers and video creators to deliver high-quality content
  • Manage content calendars and support campaign delivery

Key Skills

Creative and Design

  • Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, colour theory and composition
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and translate ideas into effective visual communication
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms

Print Production

  • Strong understanding of print processes, file preparation and colour management
  • Experience preparing press-ready artwork and managing production specifications
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes and print techniques

3D Visualisation and Motion

  • Ability to produce 3D models, renders and animations to support marketing and product visualisation
  • Experience creating visual content that communicates technical or product information clearly

Communication and Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills when working with clients, internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ability to present design concepts and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple departments to support business objectives

Organisation and Project Management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coordinating with printers, suppliers and other external partners

Software and Tools

  • Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro

The Role

As our Social Media, Content and Engagement Specialist you will plan, create, publish and manage content across multiple social platforms while actively engaging with client communities. You will work independently on smaller projects and collaborate closely with the creative, strategy and account teams on larger campaigns.

This is a client-facing role with ownership of account performance, engagement growth and overall social delivery. You will be responsible for day-to-day client communication, taking part in calls and meetings where required and contributing to reporting and performance updates.

The role is hybrid, with collaboration from our Birmingham office and flexibility to work remotely where appropriate.

Contract, Hours and Rate

  • Full-time or part-time opportunities available
  • Contracted position with initial contract and review after 6 months
  • Primary working hours during weekdays
  • Evenings and weekends may be required depending on client needs, flexibility is essential
  • Rate dependent on commercial experience

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and X
  • Manage client accounts end to end with clear ownership of performance
  • Maintain consistent brand voice across multiple clients
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, trends and best practice

Content Creation

  • Write engaging captions and develop concepts for short-form video, stories, reels and carousels
  • Work with designers and video creators to deliver high-quality content
  • Manage content calendars and support campaign delivery

Community and Engagement

  • Manage comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with online audiences and client communities
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement and visibility

Reporting and Performance

  • Monitor engagement and account performance
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve results
  • Take responsibility for continuous improvement across managed accounts

Tools and Platforms

  • Meta platforms

What We Are Looking For

  • 1 to 3+ years experience in social media, content or community management
  • Experience managing client or brand social accounts
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and online culture
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to tone of voice
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing within a wider team

Portfolio or Trial

Portfolio or examples of managed social accounts required. Alternatively, willingness to complete a small task or trial.

Progression and Growth

As you demonstrate the ability to grow engagement, retain clients and positively impact account performance, you will have the opportunity to manage larger client accounts and take on increased responsibility within the agency.

Web Application Developer

The Role

Projects vary but typically involve two-sided platforms, dashboards, booking systems and consumer-facing apps. The work is hands on and varied. You will be involved from early builds through to launch, iteration and ongoing support.

This is a long-term engagement, not a one-off project. We are looking for someone who wants to become a reliable part of the team.

Tech Stack

  • React with TypeScript

  • Supabase or similar (backend, auth, real-time features)
  • Stripe and Stripe Connect (payments, subscriptions, marketplace flows)
  • Mapbox or Google Maps (geolocation and mapping)

What the Work Involves

  • Building web applications from wireframes or existing prototypes
  • Working with and iterating on existing codebases
  • Integrating third-party APIs and services
  • Real-time features, messaging and notification systems
  • Payment integrations including escrow and split payout flows
  • Admin panels and dashboard interfaces
  • Ongoing maintenance, bug fixes and feature development on live platforms

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS experience
  • Comfortable working across frontend and backend
  • Experience with Supabase, Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
  • Experience with payment integrations (Stripe, Stripe Connect)
  • Able to pick up unfamiliar codebases and work through them confidently
  • Clean, maintainable code with sensible structure
  • Good communicator who works independently and flags blockers early
  • UK based and available for regular check-ins

Nice to Have

  • React Native / Expo experience
  • Experience building marketplace or two-sided platforms
  • Familiarity with maps and geolocation APIs
  • CI/CD and deployment pipeline experience
